My name is Maya Purdie and I'm a self-taught artist that currently resides in Houston, TX.

I've always loved to create, whether it be drawing, woodworking, or ceramics. But when I tried painting I instantly fell in love.

My art is a mixture of what goes on in my head and heart. I use it to express myself - from my favorite moments to my personal struggles. Sometimes I like to incorporate other mediums, but painting is where I feel the most at home.
